It is the 1st of October today, and in the past 2 weeks, 3 of our VIP immigrant job seekers clients who are still offshore, have landed interviews with international employers – without ever setting foot in their new country.

All from a distance.

Yes, it is all possible, IF you apply the right tactics for this kind of market, post covid, in tough economic times and know how to find a job overseas, applying it correctly.

Let’s face it – how are you going to improve your CV and be better than your competitors with the same qualifications, the same experience and skills?

Most people try this approach and it does not work.

Here is what they did differently:

How To Find a Job Overseas By Creating Trust With a Targeted Network of Overseas Employers

First, we researched a targeted list of specific employers for them. It is part of our VIP Program for immigrant job seekers.

This consists of employers who we know are looking for the best workers, including immigrants to fill skills shortages.

Also, these employers are researched in terms of how they get their talent, what skills they want, where and how they recruit, to determine the best strategies to recruit them.

Then, we helped our clients create trust with those employers – something an analogue, historical CV cannot do.

If you really want to beat the competition and want to crack the code on how to find a job overseas, you MUST learn how to create trust with targeted employers.

Remember, the things these employers are looking for is mostly not on your CV – especially in a recession!

You will also have to find out what these factors are and how to convey it to your targeted employers.

Creating trust goes much further than trying to impress someone on a CV.

In this way, creating that trust, they stood out – head and shoulders above the competition.

That trust is created by first creating likeability and credibility, which brings us to the 2nd way in how to find a job overseas, using an unconventional approach

Creating Visibility, Likeability and Credibility Through An Online Profile

Yes, these people all had LinkedIn Profiles, just like their competition, but there is a difference in their LinkedIn Profiles, and it is used in a specific way to enable them how to find a job overseas.

Their LinkedIn profiles were not just a copy of an analogue, historic CV – like 99% of LinkedIn Profiles and the profiles of their competitors.

It is much more.

It is an active profile, filled with content, showcasing their skills (instead of just listing it), engaging and interacting with their targeted employers and connections within those employers. Even if you are offshore, this is possible to do if you want know how to find a job overseas.

Furthermore, it is now linked with carefully selected connections inside those employers, making up a network or audience, to which they become visible.

In this way, they created resume videos, STAR Profiles, content, communicated and showed their interest, communication skills, and enthusiasm for their niche.

You might say that they spoke to their audience – at least once a week through carefully curated content.

They ensured that they put this content in front of their targeted employers again and again.

This way, they created likeability, credibility and eventually – trust.

Just as you are watching many of my videos, and feel like you are starting to know me a little, their audience of potential employers saw their personalities, characters, communication skills and got to know the person that they are – instead of seeing a list of flat skills on a piece of paper.

It has such a magical effect in a post covid, competitive world, where everyone else is trying to just compete with a CV, that looks like yours.

In the end, this is how they succeeded in getting invited to interviews – they showed so much more and implemented so much more than a CV in how to find a job overseas.

Now – can you do this?

Can you go above and beyond your CV, to stand out from the crowd and competitors?

Can you implement trust and visibility, credibility and likability with these “outside the square” tactics – even from offshore?

Yes, you can!

Before these 2 clients, there were many hundreds of others who have used this approach successfully.

Remember – if you want are confused, overwhelmed and fearful as an immigrant job seeker and have no idea where to start and what to do, fill out our quick questionnaire.
