Now, here is a bonus way of finding a visa sponsorship job – even during this Covid-19 crisis while the borders are closed.

Now just a note here – this is not for everyone, but there are some highly skilled migrants who will be able to get through the border closures if they are one of the workers in these categories of visa sponsorship jobs.

And I will show you how to find out if you are one of them, in this video.

So, where and how can you potentially get through the border closures by being a critical worker and find a visa sponsorship job in this economic crisis?

Critical Workers – a Chance To Find a Visa Sponsorship Job While The Borders Are Closed

In most countries there are jobs which are deemed critical – even during this Covid-19 crisis.

We know that the borders are closed for most immigrants, but there is a category of workers who are deemed critical workers.

In some cases, the employers who need these workers cannot find them onshore, within the country, and they must come from immigrants.

Here, the governments have given a special authorisation for these critical workers to get through some of these border closures.

Who Are Critical Workers?

You can check the immigration websites for your destination country and see the requirements and criteria for critical workers.

This video is too short to give you all the details for each country here.

However, I work through this enormous detail with the members in our Quick Start Program.

The government establishes that some projects, programs and events are deemed critical for certain economic recoveries and therefore deem that workers who are associated with these projects are critical workers.

There are certain processes to follow, and you must first determine your eligibility, and also research and work with the companies who are now involved in these projects, to fall within this category.

How To Find a Visa Sponsorship Job As a Critical Worker

1. Check the immigration websites to see the requirements and criteria for critical workers in your destination country.

2. Determine which projects, programs and events are deemed critical by the authorities and for which workers will be critical.

3. Find the employers who are involved in these projects, programs and events as contractors, etc

4. Target them directly with the right research, tools and strategies. You will need in-depth research about them, what skills they want, which kinds of people they require, where and how they recruit, etc. Then you will need to create a Strategic Immigrant’s CV, your own Unique Immigrant’s LinkedIn Profile, according to their requirements, matching their requirements, and also find strategies to target them the right way.

Here is an example of a Critical Worker job ad and where this organisation is looking to employ someone and they should be able to apply to be a critical worker, if no suitable onshore candidate is found. They will then be able to get through the closed borders.
