A "must-have" for any immigrant looking for a job

“I needed help with my CV and cover letter as I was at the end of my studies and Zarelsie told me one day send me your things and I will look at them.

She told me to start up a LinkedIn page to gain more interest in my career and industry.

At this point I was finished with University I was working at Takapuna Beach Holiday Park and was looking for more work. I asked Zarelsie again what should I do she said go to people and ask them if they need people.

At the end of last year I gained a position as shelf stocker at New World Whangaparaoa which was awesome gained a new skill.

Start of new year comes and I need job again as I left other job I thought to myself lets try Zarelsies advice go to people and ask for an opportunity for work.

So I went and email Troy at Whangaparaoa Lodge had a interview/meeting with him he offered me a position as a housekeeper assistant which was amazing “finally a job in my industry – it’s a start for me”.

Now 5 months later I can’t say thank you enough to Zarelsie with her help and guidance that she has given me. Now I am starting to think I’ll do my Management course part time while working.
